dangerous situations. Being 100 miles offshore in the middle of
a hurricane is a frightening experience!

Offshore jobs working conditions
While many of the offshore jobs are physical in nature, many
of the oilrig companies will supply you with facilities to make
your stay hospitable and enjoyable. Some of these include gym
facilities, satellite TV rooms and entertainment
facilities.
The oilrig companies usually meet all food, board and
laundry expenses, along with travel and transfer costs. Most
offshore jobs call for a 14 by 21 day rotation that means you
work for 14 days and have 21 off.
